PR Accelerator 2026 Winners Lotus Matter and Pipeline Organics

Oxford & London, UK – 10th September 2026: Climate tech companies Lotus Matter and Pipeline Organics have been named the winners of the 2026 Oxfordshire Greentech PR Accelerator, each securing £15,000 of communications consultancy from Mixology Communications. Atmosfuture was also highly commended by the programme’s judging panel, including representatives from Mewburn Ellis, Mishcon de Reya, and Earth Capital.

Now in its third year, the competitive brand and communications programme has awarded more than £100,000 of consultancy to members of the Oxfordshire Greentech network. Designed specifically for climate tech startups, the PR Accelerator Programme helps brands to sharpen their message and elevate visibility to drive both commercial and environmental impact.

The PR Accelerator winners were announced at the inaugural Greentech Masterclass, a new quarterly series for established founders to share their experiences and insights with other earlier-stage innovators, investors and partners, with the first edition hosted by Mewburn Ellis in London.

Introducing the 2026 PR Accelerator winners

Lotus Matter is a material innovation and carbon capture company focused on decarbonising cement and other high-temperature industries. Developing next generation sorbents for calcium looping, its technology transforms cement plants into carbon recyclers, helping to cut emissions, reduce energy demand and lower reliance on virgin raw materials.

Pipeline Organics develops 3D-printed bio-electrochemical fuel cells that reduce organic load in food and beverage wastewater while generating electricity on site. Its technology is designed to reduce wastewater treatment costs, emissions and dependence on public utilities.

Highly commended entrant Atmosfuture provides a patented containerised cryogenic system that converts data centre waste heat and ambient air into clean, 24/7 baseload electricity, with captured CO₂ as a saleable co-product.

Andrew Laxton, CEO of Mixology, said: “Lotus Matter and Pipeline Organics are tackling two of the most complex environmental challenges facing the built environment and manufacturing sectors; decarbonising cement production, and reducing the impact of industrial wastewater. Both have clear commercial potential, and compelling communications will be critical to cutting through the noise and demonstrating their value to the audiences that matter to them.

“Reaching our third PR accelerator and awarding more than £100,000 of consultancy is an important milestone for us. We look forward to working closely with both winners to strengthen their positioning and raise their profiles to support the next stages of their growth.”

Hannah Scott, CEO of Oxfordshire Greentech, said: “This year’s applications demonstrated both the wide range of exciting innovation across our network, as well as the passion driving the people behind them. Lotus Matter and Pipeline Organics impressed the panel with the potential of their technologies, as well as the clarity of their plans for growth. At the same time, Atmosfuture was also recognised as a very strong entrant.

“Even the strongest climate innovations need the right story and platforms to make impact. Our partnership with Mixology helps our members articulate their value, strengthen their credibility and build trust with the right audiences that can help them reach their full potential.”

Criteria and assessment

Following a record number of submissions, the winners of the PR Accelerator Programme were selected following an assessment by a judging panel including Hannah Scott, CEO, Oxfordshire Greentech; Andrew Laxton, CEO, Mixology; Chris Cowan, Associate Director, Mixology; Nicola McConville, Partner, Mischon de Reya LLP; Eleanor Maciver, Partner, Patent Attorney, Mewburn Ellis LLP; and Robert Timms, Director, Earth Capital.

Applications were assessed against four key criteria: the environmental challenge being addressed, the innovation and potential impact of the solution, the communications opportunity, and each organisation’s readiness for the programme to support their business goals.

Previous PR Accelerator winners include Mistify AI, Metier Technologies, RePolyWise and CapChar. Securing over 90 pieces of high-impact coverage across top-tier trade, national, business and broadcast media, previous participants have reached a combined potential audience of nearly 50 million across the UK, Europe, Asia and North America.
